Statement of Inclusivity
Both Beth and John, who are the faces of Crow’s Compass, open our services to any who might earnestly seek divinations. We commit now, and with every client, to do our best to help each client in the time that we have contact with them regardless of their race, gender, gender expression, gender non-conformance, sexual orientation, physical abilities, family structure, relationship structure, or religious and spiritual beliefs. As people who help others to listen to, and communicate with, the sacred powers which imbue our world, we find it unacceptable to allow the forces of systemic oppression to wade into our work, and we choose to side with those who fight those forces.
Do you need help?
If you are having a crisis or need to talk to someone related to self-harm and feelings surrounding self-harm, we urge you to reach out to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. They are available at 1-800-273-8255 and by online chat 24/7.
A resource for this same problem for LGBTQ youth is The Trevor Project. They can also be reached at 1-866-488-7386 or by online chat.
Reaching out for spiritual help in a crisis is understandable, but if you are having a problem related to these issues, it is best to contact a professional who can help you through this difficult time. We will not be the right people for this job and urge you to reach out to the resources above. You are loved!
I don’t want to hear bad news…
Many people are reluctant to seek divinatory services because they fear that they will hear bad news, or news that is otherwise troubling. We are bound to tell you the truth without the interruption of sugar-coating, but we are not here to frighten you either. If troubling news should come up, it is in our experience that the spirits and powers who inform our work will not simply deliver this bad news to you and leave you to go your merry way, but rather will identify problems, provide clarity to the situations which surround them, and many times provide advice and guidance on how to solve the problem or navigate around it.
